 What Are ITI Courses?

ITI stands for industrial training institutes, these are governed by DGET - directorate general of employment and training. The ITI courses mainly focus on  providing employment oriented skills and train students to be ready for industry specific tasks.

 There are thousands of private as well as the government offering these ITI courses in India. The duration of ITI courses can vary from 6 months to 2 years.


Eligibility Criteria For ITI Courses

Getting admission to any route depends on you clearing this eligibility criteria. If you fail to meet eligibility stipulations set by using the institute for the course, you will no longer be considered for admission to the program. The criteria are are as follows.


  • You should have cleared class10/ class 8 in the ordinary mode.

  • It is mandatory for you to have received passing marks in all the exams.

  • Depending upon the choice of TIT direction in which you are seeking admission, you ought to compulsorily have some subjects at the category 10th / class 8th level.

Computer Operator courses - Computer operator courses mainly focus on how to learn computer systems or how to sort out the problems or defects which affect running of computer systems and machines. In this course how to organize computer data with the help of software. These courses provide certificates also. The salary in this field varies from 2-3 lakhs to 3-8 lakhs per annum.


Stenography English - 

This course is an administrative vocational trade.

 The syllabus mainly comprises topics such as how to take dictation in shorthand of correspondence, reports, and other matters, and operates a typewriter to transcribe dictated material. It is very good from a career point of view as it opens many opportunities for them in various fields.


Surveyor -

The IT sector is a course which is related to the construction sector. The main job of the surveyor is to check the boundary of land.

Whether there is a building, road, or other construction work surveyors are needed there so that they can survey and make sure that the building or other structure is in place. The average starting salary of a surveyor is 1-2 lakhs per year.


Interior Decoration and Designing -

 Interior designing is getting famous in India at a very fast rate.

The craze for this profession has gained momentum after wives of famous Bollywood stars have started their own labels. There are many institutes providing interior designing courses at affordable prices. This course usually varies from 6 months to 1 year.

The remuneration offered to interior designers varies as per the experience as well as the firm where they work. But interior designers graduates can expect to get a salary between 93000 to 5,90,000 per annum. After gaining 10 years of experience they can expect a salary of 12 lakhs per annum.


Health and sanitary Inspector -

 Sanitary health inspectors play an important part in developing public health. Demand is increasing for health inspectors due to positive changes in the public health sector. This course trains students to manage health and sanitation aspects in a variety of organization and sectors, thus enabling them to safeguard public health and the environment.
